My daughter was changing some things on our computer and somehow deleted the sound. It's not something so simple as the speakers not hooked up, and I don't know enough about it to figure out what to do. We want our sound back cause it ain't much good without it. Can anyone help? :'( :'(

To start- Goto your control panel and open "Sounds and Audio Devices" and check all the settings including the mute button under the Volume tab.

When you try to play a file or music and Windows Media Player opens, look at the bottom left corner and you will see 5 "buttons". The 5th one from the left, next to the green slider for volume has a little speaker icon in it (actually looks like a bell). click on it and see if you have your sound back. "Sound On" is when you see the "bell" wih a .) on it. I don't think your sound was deleted.
