I need help. I have Windows XP Home Edition installed on my Dell computer. the only problem is that I have to reinstall it every 30 days. The reason is because the disk for the OS is from a Gateway computer that I no longer have. Hence I have no Prod. ID Numbers. I have tried to get new ones from Microsoft but they tell me that it is not valid. Being that I am retired and on a limited income I can not afford to purchase any new software. How can I fix this?
