How do I increase (tweak) the usability of Windows explorer, in Windows XP, not IE,  to be able to successfully have several windows open at once, especially where they are at D or E drive on the master drive, or on another drive (slave), or flash drive, attached to the computer.
I am using XP and yes my cpu is a little under strength at  P 3 500, with 758 MB Ram. Windows explorer just gives up and I get the message that the cpu usage is 100& with some 120 processes supposedly open and trying to operate.
