I installed a second-hand ATI 256mb graphics accel. card on this newly programmed (win xp pro) pc. The problem is I don't know what is the model number of the GAC and the pc will not update the driver, so it still doesn't recognize it and cannot adjust the display settings.
I can't download the driver from ATI cuz I don't know the model no.
HELP! I hope I explained myself clearly.

You need to find out what the model number is. So what you need to know is how to find out the model number. Here are some suggestions (maybe other people have more suggestions):
- Ask the person you got it from.
- Try to find a model number on the card.
- Look at ATI's website and find out what model numbers there are and start guessing.
- Look at the plug and play message and see if it has a model number in it.
