Computer Q&A Board  /  Questions  /  Uninstalling program on startup menu

There is a program on my start up list named Tdxvgautil which modifies my display on my Lenovo X300 laptop.  This requires me to manually reset the display to "normal".  How do I uninstall this program?  I have tried the usual uninstall program method, but this does not work.  Any advice would be welcome. Thank you.  Mervyn Frost

You could just remove the item from the startup list.  Try typing "msconfig" (without the quotes) in Run.  That will start the System Configuration Utility that has a Startup tab.  Find the item in the list and uncheck it.
Speed Startup also have a program which finds the startup items.  Find more information about Speed Startup at http://superwin.com/speedstartup.htm.
