I have a HP V 5000 that already has drivers for the wifi. I want to add a USB Dongle to improve performance. Should I remove the HP wifi drivers in order to get the USB antenna to work? I plugged the Dongle into the USB port, installed the software that came with it but it doesn't light up and a scan doesn't show that it is installed. Would the Dongle be bad or is there another solution?
