I have a problem with IE8. When I click on a link in Outlook 2003, it brings up Process Explorer and partially opens IE8. If I remove Process Explorer, Outlook opens an error message saying that it cannot open Process Explorer and IE8 stops opening without going to any web site. When I uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7, everything is back to normal. I am running XP Pro with 1.5 gigs or ram. Can you help me? Fred

Fred, I don't have a fix for you but just wanted to let you know that I had to revert back to IE7 also, IE8 was too unstable, wouldn't let me install my HP printer and had to close IE to often for some reason or the other, I'll wait until it is more stable to run it again. Maybe someone will have answers for us down the road.LL

I had lots of problems with IE8 also. I installed it on two computers, one with XP, and one with Vista. It caused so many problems on both that I went back to IE7. Microsoft is having a lot of problems building software that is compatible with other programs lately. Their attitude is that it isn't their problem, the other software makers have to figure it out and fix it. They may come up with an update in the future that will help. Or not.
