Can you advice me if there is a software I can download flash clips like youtube....etc and convert
file to wmv? I find the Real player method very convenient but it does not convert flv to wmv. Furthermore,
it's download function stopped working after a while for no rhyme of reason.

Can you also advice how to write, edit files on a fly to a DVD RAM disc?

Thank you and have a nice day,

As to your first question: you can try Ashampoo ClipFisher (Note: not ClipFinder, nor ClipFinderHD). This program can convert flv > wmv.
ClipFisher is trialware.

I am sorry, but I cannot help you with the second. You can write files to an optical drive via Explorer Rightclick > Send To, but I doubt if you mean that.

Right click sent to can only work with CDR or CDRW but cannot write to DVD, DVDRW and DVD RAM
