i have a desktop 3 hard drives installed windows xp sp2 constantly updated and legal copy
today it crashes i got a blue screen kernal fault
screen then vanished tried to restart itself
then it gives me the options on restart  so i select boot up from hard drive
it then tries to boot up but then informs me i have no drives installed anyone help
i also cant get into the bios setup because it wont recognise the delete key
i assume one of my hard drives are gone but  i need advice
i tried to start up from recovery disc but it wont recognise my hard drives

Clearly, you have a hardware/bios issue. Try the following steps, but be careful if you're not familiar with any of the processes listed.

Shutdown your computer and reconnect all cables between your hard drives and motherboard as well as the power cables to your hard drives. Reboot and see if this makes a difference.

Shutdown your computer and reset your bios using the reset pins on your motherboard. Temporarily removing your motherboard BIOS battery will ensure the reset. Reboot your PC.
