End Aug 20008,I was invited by Jiajia to visit is website where I could find interesting
proposals for all sort of goods.Went to the webssite GT4M.com and decided to put
an order for a camcorder SonyHDR-FX1E,price ca $740 CIF delivered.Tranaferred the
amount tp their account at Bank of China after order confirmation.Delivery with UPS
would follow on receipt of my payments but, since than, contact was impossible.
Decided to cancel my order and asked for refund of my money:no reaction at all.
Does somebody know about a way to make a complaint about fraud and where to
address it to in China,or,as I notived elsewhere,I better forget about it?
Many thanks and kindest regards,
Baloria

I don't know if the government of China would help you with that or if the Bank of China would do anything.  I doubt it.
There are websites where you can post an explanation of your experience so others will know about it.
For future reference, any reputable company will accept credit cards or PayPal (there are other online pay companies but PayPal will give you a full refund and not all of the other companies will).  So always use credit cards or PayPal when doing business on the internet.  If something like this happens and you used a credit card or PayPal, the credit card company or PayPal will do a chargeback and give you a full refund.
Also there are certain scams to watch out for, like, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, and the ebay after closing offerings.
