Is there a registry fix that will allow me to restore those annoying security alerts? You know, the ones with the check box that says "in the future do not show this warning." Several people use this computer, and I would like to return the security alerts and other pop-up dialog boxes to their default settings.

Have you tried going to the Security Center in the Control Panel? There are settings there.
It really depends on which warnings you want to be shown as to how to reinstate them. Windows provides settings to undo the Do Not Show checkbox, but they are in different places and depend on which warnings are involved.

Hello Ray,
I'm familiar with the Security Center in Control Panel. The ones that have been hidden by the "Do not show" checkbox are the alerts I want to restore.
