My friend Has a HP Pavillion. It keeps shutting itself down! I have cleaned it. It does ok for a day or two then it does the same thing. I boot it up & it shuts down, sometimes before it even gets fully booted. Any Ideas?????? :-/

That sounds like a bad power supply. The best way to find out if the power supply is bad is to replace it with a new one.

Thanks Ray. I will try that. I have a couple of them laying around here. I will let you know what happens.
