I use a Windows Explorer replacement called Powerdesk Pro and am having a problem with it.  Whenever I do some form of file action within Powerdesk (save a file, copy, move, rename, etc), it takes a very long time (20-30 seconds) for Powerdesk to process the action and give me back control over the program (i.e., the mouse cursor hour glass goes away).  Any ideas what might be causing this.  i've had the program for  2 years and never had the problem until I wiped my HD and reinstalled Windows XP Pro and all my applications.

   Not being familiar with Powerdesk Pro, it is hard to know what could be the problem.  I would suggest contacting the company that wrote Powerdesk Pro and ask them about that.

Are you using the latest version 6?
Have you checked for the latest updates?
