Computer Q&A Board / RegVac / Vista will not install Regvac's Help or .CNT files

When I try to install the latest Regvac file on my Vista machine, I get a pop-up trying to search for the help file in the temporary setup file. When I open the temp file in windows explorer, I can see the help file there. When I click on that file I get a pop up error message:
Why can't I get Help from this program? The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista. For more information, see "Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft support website." http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 I bypassed the help installation only to be stopped again because Windows could not find the .CNT file, which is also there in the TEMP file. I cannot find out any reason for this, hence I have no Regvac on this machine. Has anyone else run across these problems? I have tried multiple downloads of the current Ragvac install file with the same results. I cannot find any questions here in the forum that refer to these problems. I would like to have the help file available, but it is not necessary, but I do need to find out why the .CNT file will no load. Does anyone have any ideas to help me? :)

I don't understand when you are getting the first error about the Help file. From the first sentence in your question, it sounds like you are getting it when RegVac is installing.
If you open Help from RegVac, you should not have any problems. The file you want to open is regvac.chm not regvac.cnt. The .CNT file is an older Help format that Vista does not support.
