I'm writing this on Oct 29/07.  For the past 10 days or more I have had a "Microsoft Update" installed on my computer just before it shuts down.  It doesn't take long to process but I am amazed that there is a system "update" everyday for days on end.

Are other users also receiving these daily "updates" or is there one update on my computer that keeps recycling and not installing ?

I would suspect that it is one update.  I have not had any updates lately.

I had the same problem about a year ago.  I wish I could remember how I solved it!!  I think it was Ray or someone in this forum who had the answer.  It was something simple..........I'm really sorry but I just can't remember what it was.   I wouldn't even be writing this, Just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one who's had this happen.   If it comes to me, I'll get back.
