Computer Q&A Board / Other Computer Problems / Can't see Camera in Explorer Window

I have done something to my computer that is not letting me see my camera in the Windows Exployer. I loaded Adobe Elements 5.0 a month or so ago and know that I changed somethings to allow it to be the default for looking at pictures. I just can't figure out what I changed to not let me see the camera. The camera is a Cannon Digital Rebel XT. It works fine on my husbands Vista Machine so I know it is something I have done. I have deleted Elemets and it still did not work.
Any suggestions?

If you have the CD that came with the camera, I would suggest using it to reinstall the camera.

Should of made a note in my first one that I have removed the Cannon Software and Adobe Photo Elements and reloade the Cannon Software and still does not work.
Thanks for the reply though.

Wanted to added the solution to my problem above. I ended up calling Cannon to figure out what was going on with my camera. It appears that my HP2700 (the Scanner portion) was competing with my camera. I disabled the HP2700 and everything worked fine. I'll work with it a little more to figure out why the printer shows up all the time. We are using a wireless network and assume the way we have it set up is the cause for that. As long as I know how to make it work, I'm good.
