I recently had to reinstall drivers from my Dell XP600 Resource CD. Now, 2 programs: "Karen's Countdown Timer 2" and "Counterspy," when opened, trigger the Windows Installer box requesting the Resource CD. I hit the cancel button several times and the box goes away and the 2 programs proceed normally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the 2 programs with no change. Alternately, if I insert the Resource CD as requested and hit OK, the box goes away. The 2 programs proceed normally. Since I use both programs daily and sometimes multiple times, this gets aggravating. Any suggestions?

   I would suggest that you call Dell and see if they have an answer (if so, be sure to share it with us).
