Looking at the above post. If you want the HTML tags to apply to the text, you have to put the [/] tags after the text.
The browser starts at the initial tag and applies it to the text it sees until it gets to the end tag. So your tags start and end with nothing in between.
I think HTML is turned off in the forum anyway so the above is just for general information. :)

   If you highlight the text that you want to be affected by the buttons in the "More Post Options" section and then click on the button, it will put those tags in front and behind the text and then it will work.
   For example, if you just click on the BOLD button without selecting text, it will look like this: [b][/b]
   But if you highlight the text first ( I highlighted this text ) and then click on the UNDERLINE button, it will look like the above underlined text.  

   (sorry, it did not work right when I used the BOLD button in both examples above so I had to use the UNDERLINE button in the second example)
