Computer Q&A Board / WinRescue / How much data can WinRescue back up?
Posted by: margb, June 22nd, 2007, 6:35pm
Hi - I bought two copies of Win Rescue XP in 2003, but stopped using it because it could not handle the large amount of data on my husband's computer. I had to break it down into small segments (the suggested solution) and try to keep track of any new directories he created, and it just got to be too much trouble.
Does the current edition handle 150-250 GB of data in one normal backup?
If it does, does the registration key I received in 2003 still work? I only received one key for both copies purchased.
Thanks.

I think the limit is somewhere over 10 gig. It varies.
No, the current edition does not handle those large sizes. The problem is that the zip files that the backups are put in cannot handle it.
