Computer Q&A Board  /  Other Programs  /  Delete Data in Microsoft Money

Hi',
I use Microsoft Money Ver. 2002 for my personal Banking
account recording.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to delete any old recorded data
from the saved data menu.

ie, after typing in the date, entering the sum of money to be recorded to the account,
a third data line has to be clicked on this opens up the names of all credits and debits
recorded.

Some of the selection is no longer required which will if deleted show a neater
drop down menu box.

Regards.

Harry.

Harry,
I also use Money.
Please read the help file.
I don't mean to be sarcastic, but I have been using Money for many years. When I want to delete or clean up data I have always found the answer in the program's help file.
As another solution you can call Microsoft. Not only will you find your answers but you will learn more about the program. For example you can archive past years records and can easily recall them. The help program part of Money is one of the best I've seen.
When faced with questions on any program: first read any FAQ info and Help files.
second contact any forums associated with the program, Third contact the Company support. Very seldom will you need to contact anyone.
