Could someone please explain to me the difference between Ripping and Burning as they pertain to CDs, etc? Thanks!

Ripping a CD is taking the audio or video content from the CD and copying it to your computer's hard drive.
Burning, on the other hand, is just the opposite. It is copying the content from your hard drive to a CD.
