Computer Q&A Board / Internet / Transferring Address Book in Outlook 2003

A computer I have totally crashed but the hard drive is fine. I am going to install the old drive in a new computer as a slave. Now I want to transfer the address book (Outlook 2003) from the slave drive to the new installation of Outlook 2003 on the new computer. Anyone have any tips? I Googled this question and couldn't find anything right off that looked to fit.
Thanks,
Bob

Outlook Express' address book has a .wab extension. I do not know if Outlook 2003 uses the same extension or not.
Outlook 2003 can import the address book. Just go to the File menu in Outlook 2003 and select Import. That should give you the ability to find and import the address book from the other drive.

usmaniv, that link refers to Outlook Express. a1driller was asking about Outlook 2003 which is different. Outlook and Outlook Express are two different programs even though they are both written by Microsoft and both deal with emails. I don't know if they share the WAB format or not.
