I am looking for a dll repair utility, is there a good program out there?
I am using XP Pro.

Maybe there is such a thing, but I don't think so. I don't see how that would be possible since a DLL is simply a program file used by other programs.
If you want to repair a DLL find out where it came from (from Microsoft or from another software company) and get a new one from them. Or look for a backup of it on your computer.
There are driver update programs but you can do the same thing for free by updating the driver from the manufacturer's website.

You might try to re-register the dll. Click START--> RUN and type CMD. At the command prompt type REGSVR32 xxxxxx.dll and press ENTER. Close the cmd dialog box and restart your system.
