new map in windows xp pro

after some time it is not any more possible to open a new map in program files for example.computer a7n8x e deluxe-amd 3200 xp

It is as easy as that.Computer fresh started I open Program Files, right click and I have a choice program opend and it is possible to open a new map of coarse.
When I do the same after some computer work and I go again to, for exemple, Program Files no choice program opens and the .system stops working. I use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to unlock the computer.I hope you can follow me.
The problem is over for some time after rebooting, then it repeats as subscribed.

OK, I assume that you do not know English.
I do not think map is the correct word. I do not understand what you are referring to when you say "open a new map".

I am assuming that you are saying that you are unable to open a new window after working with your computer for a certain amount of time.
Since this problem seems to be showing up after the computer has been running for a while, I would think that it could be due to several causes.
First possibility would be that you have a very limited amount of RAM. Windows XP, SP2 uses a lot of memory. 256 MB would be an absolute minimum and that would give slow performance.
The second possibility would be that the problem is heat related, i.e. heat buildup is causing hardware problems.
A third possibility is that you have a virus or spyware problem or file system errors.

If your RAM is sufficent, 512 MB or more, then I would run a complete virus and spyware scan. After that, run chkdsk to see if there are file system errors or bad sectors on the hard disk.
If the above all show no problems, then the problem is probably hardware related
[usually either the power supply or the RAM].

I have the same board as you and am running a 2800+.   It does generate a good bit i
of heat  but that does not sound like the problem.   The on board heat sensors will SHUT IT DOWN if they reach critical temperatures.

You can download the ASUS PROBE and run it to see if you have a heat problem.

Sounds to me like a memory or cache problem or too little cache room on the HDD
Try the A1 cleaner its good.

One gig memory dual channel on that system should scream.

Assuming it is being unable to start a new window, I would try Xing out of that window and then clicking to start a new window. If it still doesn't start a new one then hit CONT+ALT+DEL and look at the PROCESSES and see if any process is showing close to 100% usage. If not, then add up the amount of memory being used and if it equals or comes close to the total available RAM then user dlwolff0's suggestion is right. You do not have enough RAM memory.
