I am runnign MS Outlook 2003 under Windows XP SP 2. At times, but not always, when I reply to a message and email this reply and then come back to the original message the text of that original message has disappeard. It (the original text) does however, show up in my reply.

Does anybody have thoughts as to what is happening here?

I can't say I know the answer to this odd one, but my first port of call would be to Detect & Repair in Outlook. Can,t be sure (as this is being written from my girlfriend's computer, which has Outlook 2002) but it is either in Help or Tools. You will probably need your Office installation disc to hand.

Thanks for the input - I had already tried this but to no avail.
