I had Yahoo Messenger.... but about 2 weeks ago, it would no longer login and be usable unless I disabled my Internet Security.. Once I disable it, then Yahoo Messenger works fine... Is there a way to have Yahoo on all the time, like I used to, without diabling my Internet Security???? HELP

You simply need to change the settings in Internet Security [Norton?] to allow Yahoo Messenger to connect to the Internet.

It could easily be that your "Internet Security" includes a firewall which is blocking Yahoo Messenger.  The symptom fits.

If you know how to, make sure that your firewall is set to allow both incoming and outgoing communication with the Yahoo Messenger program itself, and that the following ports are open: TCP 5000-5001 (for using Yahoo Messenger with chat) and UDP 5055 (for using Yahoo Messenger with a telephone).  If your firewall is of a kind which asks you if you want to allow the program to be a server, answer "Yes".

Good luck.
Cassy.
