After a backup with WinRescue XP, there is ALWAYS a window that states:  "The Following files could not be copied:  Backup 1.009 could not be verified.  22552 files backed up".  Of course that last number of files always changes, but the rest remains the same.  What does this mean and is it a problem?  Thanx!  MERI   :)

   No, it is not a problem.  Verify does not work with split files.  That is why you are getting that error.
   WinRescue is splitting the backup because it is too big to fit in one file.
   Verify is not needed because if the backup is bad, WinRescue will tell you.  I simply added Verify because some users wanted it.  I would suggest that you uncheck Verify.
