Would anyone know why a few of my icons have disappeared from my toolbar. I've set them to 'always show' and they suddenly disappeared???

The default for WinXP is to hide unused icons.
Even if you have them marked to always show, they will disappear after a set time unless you have used them.
If you do not want this to happen, go to the control panel and open Taskbar and Start menu. Uncheck the box that says "hide inactive icons" and click apply at the bottom of the window.
