How do I remove something from starting up? This computer uses windows 2000. I know with xp I can go to run and put in msconfig, but I unfortunatly have no idea how to do this with 2000. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Mike Lin has a free program for Windows 2000 called Startup Control Panel that allows you to control all startup programs.
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtmlThis page explains its use and allows you to download it.
Much more convenient than searching through the registry for the startup items in Win2000 :)
