Sometimes you don't wish to waste paper and print information from the internet. In that case I recommend PDF reDirect; it prints PDF files. There is a free version, which I used for awhile; although I later upgraded to the commercial version.  I print the help file from vendors and their support responses to PDF and save on one of my external hard drives. PDF is the best way to store help files and support responses. Later if you wish to give a friend a hard copy, you may print the PDF.    Leo Bolle claims that PDF reDirect has a great interface but the qaulity in the best resolutiuon(!) of the PFD is bad. He says that CutePDF is better and it is free.

Is it possible to install CutePDF on same computer as PDF reDirect? Would there be conflicts? I would like to try it. I wish that I knew about CutePDF before I bought PDF reDirect. I am satisfied with it though. I have learned a valuable lesson: I will submit any program that I am considering here before I buy it.  In fact I doing my yearly evaluation of some of  the programs I already have, both commercial and freeware. I exclude the programs that I have used for a long time and feel certain about, that there are not better ones. I will submit a separate post.

Do either of these products work with fillable pdf forms?  I use these to file payroll account applications for clients and my Acrobat 5.0 is so far out of date it won't work properly and Acrobat Reader won't save the fillable forms when I am done.

I've found FoxitPDF (free from Foxit Software http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/) to be good.

Yes, FoxIT Reader is sooooo. much faster and neater than Adobe.

Thank you for the foxit suggestion. Adobe was getting more and more bloated. Foxit faster.  My system, thanks to you, a little leaner, perhaps faster.
