Ray what is your advice on RAM Tools like FreeRAM XP PRO? Does these tools actually make a difference on the performance of a PC? I have been using it on a Compaq Presario with 128MB of RAM, and I can really tell if there is any difference.
Sometimes it appears that it does make my PC faster and other times it seams to don't do anything.

In one of the issues of Ray's Computer Tips, I stated that I didn't think that RAM tools made much of a difference. I received some flack for that. I still don't think that RAM tools do much.
About the only valid point that was made to me was that if a person has a big problem with RAM in the older versions of Windows, that a RAM tool helps. That is probably true.

That is about the same answer I got from almost every reliable source.
