Sorry to be a bearer of a problem, but it looks like I've had my first failure (after quite a few years) with RegVac, and that with a brand new download.  It got to the page with all the check marks.  At that point it usually processes for a bit and then comes to job end with a statement of how many registry entries had been removed.

Never came back to life.  The little hour glass was always present.

Guess what.  I just ran it again and it came to job end.  Stated that there were 7 entries that Windows 7 wouldn't let it remove and disclaiming any blame for that.  I agree.

There were 1,823 entries removed, 2nd time around.  I don't know if anything happened first time.

Guess you don't need to get back to me, now that it seems to be working.

Thanks for the excellent program.

Tony in Rindge.

Strange.  We have never come across that.  But you never know with all of the things going on in the background in Windows 7.
