I use A1 Cleaner in auto mode daily and I'm very familiar with the way it works.  A friend has purchased and installed A1 Cleaner on his system (60GB hard drive - half full, 512 MB of RAM, 2.66 GHz Intel 4 processor)  A1 Cleaner is tryng to remove 27,500 items taking up 9.5 GB of space.  So far it has been cleaning for 18 hours and has another 500 items to go.  The cleaning rate has gradually slowed to 100 an hour.  Is this length of time normal?

The No Remains Deletion should be turned off when deleting huge numbers of entries like that.  I assume that is what is taking so long.

Thanks.  My friend just reported A1 Cleaner has finished after 22 hours and removed 27,434 items.  His computer is running well.  A1 Cleaner was used in automatic mode on its default setting "Use Time Buffer".
