Hello,I was  reading  Ray's computer tips, "Computer Parts - BIOS" and he also mentions that if the clock keeps constantly losing time, the battery might be failing;would the clock work with the battery dead as long as the computer is on?,I have an old pc that the clock goes out of time now and then, but not always, then I set it to autmatically get the time when I conect to internet, thus my question, if the computer can run the clock without the battery. Thanks

New Testament - Breakthrough Version

The Breakthrough Version achieves a much higher level of accuracy. It is:

  • more literal
  • more precise
  • more contemporary
  • more correct
  • more consistent

This Bible even translates hundreds of forgotten Greek words that no other Bible does.

It is an essential tool for Bible teachers and students, yet it is easy to read, even for newbies.

Yes, the clock will work when the computer is on.  The battery is only there for when the computer is off and thus does not have electricity going to its motherboard.  The motherboard still has to keep up with what time it is and so it uses the battery.

As long as you have internet access and the system to automatically get the time works.
