Hi,

I once benefited greatly from Speed Startup in its trial form. It is a great and easy-to-use program and made my computer's boot-up process much more enjoyable and faster!

Recently, the trial version of Speed Startup has not been working. As soon as I click on the shortcut to run the program, it starts up but immediately gets stuck as "Not Responding".

I can see the Speed Startup Assistant window, but it's blank. I can't see any text. Sometimes I can see the Speed Startup interface itself, but that too is blank. I can only see its outline. I can see the "Scan" button, but if I manage to click on it, nothing happens!

If I select "Close Program" via Windows Explorer, Windows searches for a solution, but then the window for that closes down without any resolution.

As I said, this program used to run without any issues immediately whenever I started it. It would seem to freeze up briefly while performing the tasks, but would usually move on to the next step in the process in a short time, and the process was always completed. Now, the program will not run at all.

Is anyone having the same issues? This started very suddenly so I suspect that it may be due to an issue with a recent Windows Vista update.

Hope to hear from you soon.

New Testament - Breakthrough Version

www.breakthroughversion.com

The Breakthrough Version achieves a much higher level of accuracy. It is:

  • more literal
  • more precise
  • more contemporary
  • more correct
  • more consistent

This Bible even translates hundreds of forgotten Greek words that no other Bible does.

It is an essential tool for Bible teachers and students, yet it is easy to read, even for newbies.

As I told you before by email, it sounds to me like there may be something on your computer that is denying access to Speed Startup.  I have never heard of that problem before.  We'll see if anyone has any suggestions.
