I have a small network that has  computers running Vista 64 bit, XP 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit. I purchased WinRescue for a Vista for the purpose of 'backing up' the main files. My question is; was this correct, what should I get for the other computers?

Yes, WinRescue will back up the main files.  You can also tell it to back up any other files that you think are important.
You can get WinRescue XP for the Windows XP computer and run it on it.
Unfortunately, WinRescue 7 will not pack or restore the registry in Win 7 64bit so you will have to figure out something else for it.

You can get a discount price of $15 for WinRescue XP by going to the Registered Users section of the WinRescue Vista page on our website and selecting Update or Upgrade.
