I am trying to get video into PPT 2007.  I've followed the instructions and get no animation just frozen video with Quicktime, VLC gives me Video but no audio.  The first try was with Windows MP with no luck.  I've been told to try Producer but the downloads are for 2003.  I've had a co-worker send me the PPT 2003 (no animation or audio).
