Is everyone aware that Win 7 is nowhere compatible with some of the normal XP drivers?
I now have two printers and one scanner that will not be supported with Win 7 and I am mad as hell. They don't tell you this before you upgrade.
One of the printers is a very good multi-page B&W printer that is ideal for large documents.
Next time I buy a new PC it will be a Mac !

I have been using Windows 7 Ultimate since the Beta release and have found it a big improvement over Vista. I too however have had problems with drivers but it is important to remember that you are trying to go from XP to 7 and this is NOT supported by Microsoft. The official route is XP - Vista - 7. Try to find Vista drivers from the manufacturers websites, in many cases these will work with 7 if the manufacturer has not yet posted drivers for 7. I have managed to get several devices working on 7 with Vista drivers, but I can confirm that in most cases XP drivers don't work on 7.
