Hi, last month I installed some updates from Microsoft. Starting with this completed there is no autorun any longer for starting a DVD or CD. Any suggestions ?

Hi dlwolff0, thank you very much for this information. This Website is in some way more understandable than the corresponding Website of Microsoft I have found in the meantime. But all this information is a little bit misguiding. Reading the information from Microssoft I have tried several possibilities failing several times. At last I succeeded. But the results didn't be in line with the Microsoft information and also not with the moonvalley information. Firstly the setting with HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Explorer/
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"  is now 0x00000000 (0). Secondly there are some more keys NoDriveTypeAutoRun in HKEY_USERS. Two of them have the setting 0x00000091.
Result: I don't understand this logic, but it works.
