I purchased a refurbished Dell GX520 3.0Ghz Tower Desktop Computer with Windows XP Pro.  When I went to install new software from a CD, everything worked fine.  Then I tried to copy some .jpg files and some movies from a rewritable CD that I made on a different computer, but the CD could not be read.  Instead the entire system froze.  I created the CD by using the CD writing feature of Windows XP Home Edition.  The PC I used to create the CD had no trouble reading it.  Can anyone suggets a solution?
