Dear Forum,

I had the misfortune to hose my CMOS and got back up and

running with my CMOSBAK v1.02 backed-up CMOS file.

However, the incident got me curious and I surfed the net

to see what I could find.  I ran across WinRescue 98 and I also

ran across Charles Dye's Cmos.com v1.00 Dated 05-05-1999.

In a part of his description of Cmos.com he said this:

This program will save and restore the commonest types of CMOS memory found
in most computers:  the Motorola 146818, the Dallas Semiconductor DS1687, and
other hardware that emulates them.  It will save either 50 or 114 bytes of
data, depending on the hardware.  (Many similar programs only save 50 bytes.)

Soooooooooo, my question is: Does WinRescue 98 save 50 or 114 (or more?)

bytes of data?

Thanks in advance for your help.
