I have recently sent E mails to friends who  reported that they have received upto 20 copies of the E. I have also bounce Spam and got the message back from AVG that the spam was not deliverable . ( Back to the source ).
I use Thunderbird with Mailwasher and AVG.
Any idea where the problem lies .

I have been told that it is caused by a Worm in Yahoo. I download Jokes from Yahoo and hence the worm has got in . I've tried removing it with Kasperky , AVG ,'A-squared ', but it still sends out multiple copies of Es.
Any idea where to from here ?

Try using SuperAntiSpyware free edition and Malwarebytes Antimalware -- also free.  If that does not work, try using those and/or your AV program in safe mode.  By the way, it is best to run these programs with system restore turned off. (be sure to turn it back on after the problem has been solved).  Finally, if those ideas do not work, I'd try using system restore from some earlier date when all was working fine.  I hope one of these ideas works.
