My gateway laptop computer has no way to access it's internal usb ports and its DS card reader port. These used to work,, Was this because of a virus, or a computer hardware issue.
I tried recovery, when that did not work I dropped it out of the plane at 5,000 feet. That did not work, so I tried updating the drivers for the computer, when this did not work I tied it to the prop and brought the engine to 2500 rpm. This also did not work. I have no idea how to fix this.

   I think it would be more along the lines of something wrong with the drivers than a virus.
   My dad and my son are pilots.
