my webroot spysweeper has picked up on mal/generic-a and i do not know how to get rid of it. Im not sure how dangerous the virus is for my computer but i want to get rid of it regardless please help! heres my log file.

Hi,
Your problem is quite simple: You have too much AV and anti spyware software on your machi8ne (not a virus)

An AV program stores Virus Code in a non-executable format to enable it to recognise the virus when it sees it. Another anti virus program sees this code and exclaims - Virus!!

Go to: > control panel > add remove programs and uninstall  ALL anti virus/spyware and associated programs.
Re-start the machine and install only one anti virus program - AVG 8 Free is about the best (You could download this first >google AVG 8 Frree)

Re start the machine, connect to the internet and update the program.
