Possibly since the installation of SP3 in WinXP Home, passwords normally shown by just dots in IE7 also have these in plain text above the dots. This also happens in Opera 9.5 but not in Firefox or when IE7 is sandboxed. Auto complete is turned off in IE7. The same phenomenon occurs in my e-mail client, Courier 3.5, when words typed are repeated momentarily above what has been typed, and when typing web addresses in IE7.

AVG Internet Security and PrevxCSI do not show any malware present.

How please can I stop this?
