My laptop has 2 physical dasd drives. The normal default for the pagefil is on the "C" drive .. I've gone into "system" several time trying to move the pf to the "E" drive.  However it just will not stay moved.. I restart the system and it does in fact show up on the "e" drive. But, when I powerdown completely and then reboot it reverts back to the "C" drive.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

Don

The pagefile.sys file is a file that Windows uses in its operation.  If you move it, Windows will just build another one and it will always be in C:\.  That is the way Windows works.

Sorry Ray, in WinXP you can relocate the pagefile.sys to any partition.

I am sorry.  I misread the first post.  I stand corrected.
