Is there any way on Win XP Pro that when windows explorer is opened that the initial screen can have all folders unexpanded. I find that it is always starting with my documents expanded.

   You can make a link to Windows Explorer and set up the link to open Windows Explorer wherever you want to.  I explain how to do this in the following article of our newsletter - http://superwin.com/RaysComputerTips/Issue8.htm#tech.
