I had a similar problem, and it turned out a USB-connected hard drive was not properly configured. Check under Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager. See if any entries have a notation that they are not working. If you find any, try Uninstall, then Scan for New Devices. If this doesn't work, try unplugging all of your USB devices, the restarting them one by one. If your computer is able to find all your devices, install another one, until you see the problem re-occurring. Check the installation of that device. |
