For no obvious reason, the SEARCH input window shpws up blank. I am at a loos hpw to fix this. It is part of the WIN XP system software. Tried to re-install XP home edition and purchased the system disk from HP but it reported that there is a more recent system already installed and would not proceed. At a loss now. Search is realy an important utility.
