I don't quite understand if this is the right place to put a question, but here goes. Since repair of my crashed laptop, when I click on an url in an e-mail it appears in the bar under outlook, but when I move the cursor it disappears again and nothing happens. Something to do with JAVA? Please advise, Niki

   I don't know if I understand what is happening.  Are you saying that when you click on the url link in an email that nothing happens (besides the url appearing at the bottom of Outlook)?  If so, I would suggest that you reinstall your browser.

I read of this happening using Outlook Express some time ago.  Here is the solution that worked.

I know of at least one thing you might try. Open Internet Explorer (even if you use another browser), go to Tools->Options->Programs and make sure that Outlook Express is listed as the email program.
Close and open OE, then try again.
